The Christian faith is not a collection of isolated ideas. The Creed, the liturgy, and the sacraments form a single reality in which the salvation proclaimed by the Church is professed, celebrated, and lived.
The course offers a clear and systematic introduction to the first part of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Beginning with the human person’s openness to transcendence, it explores the Trinitarian structure of the profession of faith and shows how Christ’s Paschal Mystery becomes present in the liturgy and the sacraments.

Course program
A four-unit learning path
By the end, you will be able to understand faith as a personal response and, at the same time, as an act lived within the community of the Church, in which each person can profess: “We believe.”
You will deepen your understanding of faith in the one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and learn to distinguish the actions attributed to the three divine Persons within the one work of creation and redemption.
By the end, you will be able to explain how the Paschal Mystery is made present and communicated in the life of the Church through liturgical celebration. You will also learn to recognize how each sacrament makes Christ’s Paschal Mystery present and concretely accompanies the life of the believer.
Methodology

The course is delivered entirely online and asynchronously. After enrolling, you will have three months to access the content and organize your study according to your own schedule.
Recorded video lessons, selected materials, and additional resources will gradually guide you through the topics. Quizzes in the different units allow you to check your learning throughout the course, while the final assessment verifies that the expected learning objectives have been achieved.
