Academic Programme in Philosophy
online
Understanding the person, culture and technology
A comprehensive academic pathway to explore the major questions about the person, culture and the technological future, through a solid philosophical education and dialogue with the great authors in the history of thought
Why choose this course
Philosophy for understanding a changing world
We live in an age that continues to ask who we are, how we can live together with our differences and what future we are building through technology.
The programme provides the tools to address these questions through a rigorous philosophical education, bringing the foundations of philosophy and the great authors in the history of thought into dialogue with some of today’s most pressing issues.
The person, culture and technology form the three main axes of the pathway: personal identity and dignity; understanding cultural and social phenomena; the transformations brought about by artificial intelligence, the digital revolution and emerging technologies
An integrated pathway across two academic contexts
